I’m a Professional Networker since 2006 and in recent years I have had the opportunity to compare myself with many people; I have proposed the products, always tried and tested first by myself, to hundreds of people, I have immediately believed in the business and I tried to offer this opportunity whenever I had the opportunity.
In doing my job I have been stubborn and tenacious, trying to improve myself every day, yet I have received, and continue to receive, many NO.
Even today, after having come a long way, obtaining results that I can tell and demonstrate, having become a ‘product of the product’ after telling my story, I still perceive skepticism and distrust in people when I talk about Network Marketing.
I happen to be confronted with girls and boys whocould carry out this activity with sensational results, also because many already start with advanced skills, who are unable to seize the opportunity in Network Marketing, but only the difficulties.
They often tell me about their paths, the problems they encounter every day, they tell me that they don’t find outlets, despite having spent many years preparing, but they prefer to choose occasional jobs, poorly paid, and the uncertainty in the future, rather than really putting themselves in game.
I have wondered many times the reason for this behavior and, over time, I have identified some reasons, which we will talk about extensively in this blog, even if I have come to the conclusion that the first ever is fear.
Fearblocks, creeps into an infinite amount of doubts, prevents you from grasping opportunities and, when you finally grasp them, blocks your growth and success.
But what are the most common fears of the Networker?
Anyone who has undertaken a Network Marketing activity has gone through it for sure; first there were the doubts, many, fluctuating, then the fears.
This is an almost mandatory step for a Networker. But what are the most common fears and how can we deal with them?
The fear of being criticized
Probablythe first fear to be faced, the first real obstacle I ‘feel’ in people, is thefear of being criticized by family members, relatives, friends and, more generally, by those who know me. You will probably think you know Network marketing because it is told through so many clichés and prejudices. You yourself have already heard the story of the friend of the friend who ‘lost it’,right ?!
How to overcome the fear of criticism
The only way to overcome this fear is knowledge.
Take advantage of the availability of those who told you about the activity to ask questions, you will certainly receive answers. We are probably one of the categories of workers who most often have to protect themselves from fake news and prejudices. People who went into business with me later confided to me that their decision was determined by my calm and confidence in the face of this type of criticism.
I always try to understand what scares those who object or criticize by asking a few simple questions:
- What do you know about network marketing?
- Have you had any personal experiences?
- What prompted you to ask for information?
Using these questions with people who would like to approach the business but still have strong doubts, I have almost always managed to understand with them the motivation of their fears and to bring out positive feelings, dreams and desires.
Fear of failure
In a society where the myth of success dominates, failure is the real beast to tame.
Also on this front I would say that we would have things to say.

For me,failure means not learning from mistakes and experiences, do not grow even if there is the possibility to do so, think that you do not need the advice of others. Give up

Today I talked to a girl, young, motivated, prepared, dissatisfied with her working condition, lucid in her analysis of the reasons why she would not have had outlets in the medium term, quick to understand the salient points of the activity … who, after practically deciding to leave, it is shattered on the fear of failing.
Maybe too many expectations about herself? A full-blown self-sabotage. I saw her pull the handbrake saying that he has thought about it and ‘it’s all so complicated’.
Leaving a comfort zone, even if negative in many respects, changing habits, lifestyle, risking that people change their opinion about you, are sometimesinsurmountable walls.
